Salut! Sorry, my French is not that great so my post will be in English. Hello, I'm a kiteboarder from Cape Cod, MA. I recently went on a trip to Outer Banks in North Carolina and created a kiteboarding video of my trip. Main locations for the videos were in Avon. This video features some kiteboarders from Montreal - mostly for the aerial shots. If you were in OBX 11th to 17th of May and kited in the Avon area you might even see yourself in this video Here's the link: If you're curious how I got this aerial footage, here's the description of my setup: http://www.startquads.com/ |

wow, very cool. What a nice set up. Do you manually pilot the drone, or you preload a flight using gps trackpoints? I guess when you manually pilot the drone, it requires some kind of flying pre-experience. What a nice accomplishment, congrats! |

Really nice video! My friend just got a Phantom II that he will also use to do some kiteboarding videos. This is a nice drone for this purpose. By the way, we where there during the same week.

Thanks for a positive response! The quadcopter piloting does require some practice. It's also a bit scary flying it over whatever because it's not waterproof and would be unrecoverable in case of a fall. | ||
