Quand même dommage qu'ils aient voulu exagérer artificiellement le hangtime dans ce vidéo en ralentissant la séquence dès qu'il quitte la surface...
Le hangtime réel dans ce cas-ci est d'environ 2 à 2,5 fois plus court selon moi...

I guess by now, most of you should have had the experience of riding the ultimate new Ozone Edge 2011.

I rushed to the beach as soon as I got it yesterday, and today we had 20knots of gusty wind! It was so much fun!

I did pump the kite faster than usual with the new valve for this year! I must say it is nice to inflate without forcing the air through a narrow hose and heating the pump to death! I used to feel sorry for pumps but now ”long live the pumps”.

The new colors and graphic design this year are really warm, flashy and styley. I really like the green, the blue and red also, I like them all!

But most off all I was amazed by the kite so smooth, stable and predictable when I’m in the air, and it boosts my confidence to go bigger!!

If you want to engage kiteloops you will pull off bigger and bigger ones! The Edge has got power and speed in both upwind and downwind direction. It made me stay in the air so much longer than I used to, it’s a total new world of kite, thanks Ozone…you are amazing!

Now I can say the Edge 2011 is the ultimate ride, it is the Ferrari of the kite world!

So, hurry guys, go get your Edge from you Ozone distributor and go out ripping, you will be jumping higher and riding faster than ever before!

The kite is my new all time favourite light wind kite, and can't wait to try it in a bit more wind simply because it turns like a lot of 11/12m kites and I think it will boost to the moon with massive glide time. The way the kite turns/downturns and underturns, it will easily kite loop! The big difference this year is the Edge has 5 struts and this has definitely transformed the kite, along with other tweaks to the canopy. The kite is amazingly lively and reactive, same as I noticed on the 11M flown on friday by sum2868.

The thing that blew me away was towards the end of the session, I could see and feel that the wind was dropping, so I headed for home, still easily planing and going upwind. When I got to the beach I kicked the board off and then struggled to keep the kite in the air and eventually after hanging on the left side for a bit it just fell out of the sky onto the beach. This not a symptom of instability, it was just that on the beach there was virtually no wind it had to be less than 6/7 knots. First time I've experienced the ability of an efficient kite to make power from apparent wind in almost un kiteable conditions.
I have to say I had a lot of fun and got my fix on a day when literally no-one else got more than 10M off the beach!
